Hey, great pics. I love it up there. Luckily I have friends that live there and my work sends me there, it's almost like not working. Only bad thing is all the beer I drink at the brewery!

It's called the Beachcomber Motel and it's on Main St just north of Jennys Giant Burger. I was sort of wary about it since it is a motel, but it turned out to be VERY nice. The service was great and the people friendly, the views awesome and the room was really clean. We really had a great time. We at dinner at the Cliff House, and somehow, even without reservations, we scored a window seat on the west side of the building, which allowed us to watch the sun set over the ocean. VERY cool.

I <3 Fort Bragg.

I'm not sure exactly how you would get to Fort Bragg from where you live. You could connect 101 North to Willits and then take Hwy 20 in to Fort Bragg. Since I live in Sac, I take I-5N to Hwy 20 and head towards clear lake. Drive around the lake and hook up with 101, then go north a few miles to Willits, and 20 for another 30 (of some of the most kick *** twisty roads you'll ever drive) miles to Fort Bragg.

If you could connect to Hwy 1 easily from where you are, I *think* you head North and you'll drop right in to Fort Bragg.

Check out www.fortbragg.com - they'll give you lodging, restaurants and directions. It's really a great weekend - the beaches are beautiful, the restaurants are VERY cool. The drive rocks - Hwy 1 is so much fun to drive as is Hwy 20. It's the best 4 hours I've ever spent in my car
