I thought it was due to limits on testing, though, they still had their own cars. If it's just 1 car then I dunno.

It never looks like they're using the entire garage. Nor do they ever show a second car anywhere.

That would also open the door to driving the second car after the first one broke down or crashed.

so their entire important preseason tests rely on one car? I some how do not see this happening

They're only allowed to test with one car. It's part of the rules. Same goes for wind tunnel time. They're limited to X number of hours.

I was catching up on the Sky reports. The teams do indeed only have one car. AskCrofty had a tweet about numbers on the cars. There are no numbers because there's only one car.

To me Senna drove that lap 100x's better than Prost. He just seems so much smoother.
