So I should expect to see 2/3 highway deaths in the state reduce to 1/6 if they quadruple the number of tickets, or at least for the enforced areas right?
It would be funny if the number still doesn't change afte a year or two...

CHP commanders in San Jose are determined to change a disturbing fact: Speeding is the main cause of two out of three highway deaths in the state.

It would be funny if the number still doesn't change after a year or two...

What I really wonder is, if this will help SJ traffic or not. Less morons means less traffic, but slower speeds means more traffic.

I was being sarcastic... sorry, I suck at it...
I don't think it would do much either... Sure people will slow down, but doesn't mean they'll get smarter. 65 is still a fatal speed!

Oh I agree with that, you play you pay. Just don't think that would really reduce the accident rate by much. Unfortunately this line of work generates a lot of fund but doesn't really reduce the crime. But those PD work hard to reduce the crime doesn't get/generate funds...
Now if they say all these fund generate from ticketing people will go into making my neighborhood or even just the county in general crime rate lower, I am all for it! But I don't think that is the case...
