Find another co-driver then. I'll be there and it looks like I'll be working checkpoints.

It still amazes me that there's all of these Subaru people here that don't participate in events like these. Talk about a bunch of fake players

Is this doable with no co-driver? If I find anyone, it'll be a novice

You could run this solo quite easily. It's written for beginners.

It's written to give you the concepts behind this type of rally...it's a rather easy one to figure out. What will be difficult is getting lost on this rally.

Bryan -

You've done enough rallies now, plus a couple of ITN's that you should have no trouble doing this on your own! Think of it as a road trip where you have to find your way using a set of maps and have only a few clues. The only difference is that it's ... timed

Greg and Silke wrote a great rally, lots of fun roads, some navigation challenges and best of all, NO assigned speeds or predetermined route- just get to the checkpoints on time.

We pre-checked it today and I really think anyone who comes out to run is going to have fun even if they don't score zeros at every control.

Do please post here, or PM Roo if you plan to run, so he knows how many cars to expect

I'm trying to get a friend to come out and navigate for me. If he can't, then I'll see if Greg needs more workers. If Greg doesn't, then I may run solo.

For those of you free this Saturday (Aug 18): Rallycross is back at Thunderhill!

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1311544

8:30am driver's meeting. It's at Willows, CA, 1 hr north of Sacramento. The track area is larger than the usual rallycross.

I'm planning on being there.. let the organizer know if you're coming, too.
