KW V1 and wide(ish) wheels question

I'm most likely switching suspension up, I currently have BC Br coilovers (which aren't bad if you want to go lower and stiffer) but I want a nicer ride so I'm going with KW V1's. Now this is my question... Does anyone know if the V1's can fits some 17x9.5 rpf1's? tiA

You'll probably be fine. I have Intrax HDA coilovers which are similar to the KW V1 where the rear spring is tapered. My 17x8.5 +42 with a 255/40 is very close to the strut. Maybe about 4-5mm away.

how are they the same?? KW a wet filled shock and have a life time warranty and the ST is an insert NOT wet filled and only have a 5 year warranty. the valves will not be the same. GO with KW and get the better product if you are already getting a good deal.

Why not Suspension Techniques? They are based off KW V1s.

Also, when getting these, you're going to need to buy top hats/camber plates on your own to use them.

They are also hundreds cheaper and offer mostly the same results. We all know he's not tracking the car and at least he's wisening up to step away from budget coilovers like BC BRs.

Thanks for all the input boys! I really appreciate it. I know there are various brands that are similar, better, cheaper, etc. but Ibve wanted a good suspension setup that's been known to work and provide great ride quality (I'm coming from BC's here lol) I originally considered Ohlins FPS, but my wheel setup will most likely not fit, and I'm getting these KW at a good price. And I do have some OEM top hats.

Lol Ill take that as a compliment! I do plan on tracking the car, eventually. I live real close to Mt.Hammy so I do that, but I haven't done it in a while cause my car was down now I'm breaking in a new built block

So if you have plans to actually track the car.... Those v1s aren't going to do you any good.. KW makes one good coilover and that's the v3. Yes you may be getting a great deal right now but think about the long term deal and your actual goals for the car.

Also, if you plan on using stock top hats, your wheels definitely won't fit.
