Are you trying to say that Tuna could benefit from a driver mod?!

The reason I ask is for my own personal giggle factor...

I'm on a set of clubsports on the race car... And unless you want to throw a set of suspension specifically designed for 0-200 mph to 0 at the car for dang near free, I am not a potential customer...

What's the fastest you've gone in the car so far?

I edited my above statement. It was a long week, I was grouchy and I can't even begin to tell you how often a random person posts the "...looks like a Chinese coilover..." In a thread. Normally it's a kid on racelands or the like.

I don't think it matters where parts get made (as mentioned above) provided they do the job you pay for. A coilover for $500 does the job you pay for...lowers and has a basic function. It's not great for much else; but it was $500.

I do have a right to not disclose every single detail that protects some aspects of my business. I'm not sure Ohlins produces every small part (I'm just using them for example sake as they are a top tier brand). I know plenty buy washers, nuts, etc in bulk.

Joltdudeuc, if you're put off by me being annoyed at a comment taken in context; well, I'm not real sure I had you on the fence to begin with. But I did apologize, it's not like me to be quick and snippy.

I will say this... if you're trying to gain support and sell some parts I'd be very careful about exactly who you're jumping down the throat of. You managed to jump on 2 of the worse possible people.

Porkchop... well lets just say he's not only O.G. but he knows his way around the track, a shop, a race car, a car, etc.

Joltdudeuc. He's not only o.g. he's one of the fastest auto crossers in the country and knows suspension as well as just about anyone.

Now for me. I'm open to new stuff. I've tested a few set ups myself. LOL!. So if it's good it's good.

But I'm kind of curious why you let Heedz pick up something so freakin stiff for a car that will get driven on the street and the track. I ran a similar set up back in the day and need a freaking kidney belt to drive the damned things.

Set me up with a set sprung a little softer and I'll beat em to death. LOL!

Mine were a $3000+ set of Zeal's.

Just saying.

Ray the car will be track oriented I'm not going to compromise and set it up for both. I'll just deal with it on the street till I can pick up a truck. With the amount of OT I'm getting maybe by the end of summer I'll have the whole drivetrain suspension paid off then I'll start my way towards a secondary car/truck.

Makes sense. Long as it works for the way you drive then it's fine. I'm curious how they'll do. Still want a ride along. LOL.
