Feeler: How much would you pay for my car?
If, you know, I were selling it, and you were looking for a GC/GM car with a legal BAR'd swap? You can brutally honest, my feelings won't be hurt. I'm not looking to sell it now, but I may in the coming future. I have no idea what it's worth, so I'm asking what it's worth you.
1999 RS with 2002 WRX 2.0L TD04
196k miles on the car
125k on engine (Timing Belt, Water Pump done at 115k)
Rebuilt WRX Transmission with 3.90 Final Drive, and 1:1 Center Diff (20k miles)
AP3 with E85 and 91 maps
240hp/275tq on E85
220hp/235tq on 91
2700lbs WET, no driver
STi Intercooler
Walbro Pump
ID 1000cc injectors (swap the turbo, retune and easily make over the 300whp mark)
Wide body, fits 285mm tires
Lots of suspension mods, but the big ones are Koni 8610 shortened inserts with 10k/9k swift springs.
Custom Rear Sway bar from Maier Racing in Hayward that is adjustable from 350 lb/in to 550 lb/in in 50lb increments.
3" catback
Crucial Racing Catless DP
265/35/18 Hankook RS-3s
18x9.5 Rota MXR Wheels in Gold
Subaru Red 4POTS in the Front
03 WRX single POT in the rear
Axxis Ultimates Brake Pads
Steel Lines
New Brake Master Cylinder put in last year
Sparco EVO2 Seats (one is the EVO L, but that's just older nomenclature)
The Bad:
Needs Paint
No Alarm or Auto Door Locks
No Speakers, No Speaker wiring
No AC
No Sunroof
No Airbags
No ABS
It's a build in progress, but I'm at a crossroads. Got 3 kids now, just don't see myself racing much, and I hate to see it parked in my driveway/garage for years on end with little use. I don't see myself ever building all out racecar like I once thought. It's in many ways not returnable to fully street car. So it's in between. If you can live with what it no longer has, you'd have an excellent street car/daily that you can easily track or autox on a whim. I've won several region SCCA championships in the car in the street tire class. I'm not even close to maxing it out. Karlton is far better driver than me and he only needed 1 lap in it to be impressed and said it's far faster of a car than he realized. I'm probably leaving a lot of time out there, it's a great car that really handles well and communicates well. It's a finesse car, yet, has great power now.
Again, this is a feeler. I'm not sure I could just hand it over right now, but I know I will within the next year or so. If I left something out, you can let me know.

Well, they are 4 and less than a year for the twins. So we are talking another decade+ before I could do that. I get to drive it so little these days, it doesn't deserve that.
Anyways, how much do you think it's worth?

Car Info: ...zeh car drives you!
Dude, I am cheap Russian Jew accountant...I am the worst person to ask this question Even if you paid me to take the car I would somehow convinced myself I could have gotten a better deal.
Okay. May be think of it as an investment? If beat-up-almost-roller-chassis RS's are going for $7k+...just imagine what they will fetch in 10 years!
