ha-ha ....
Its funny you mention that because a lot of standalone cars I've seen from other tuners tend to have a tough time holding an idle.

I'd love to try these injectors out on a stock ECU at some point. They have such a linear flow rate even down to very low pulse widths that I would actually expect them to run pretty well even with the stock ECU.

In case you guys missed this from the last page:

How about this... same car, but we just switched it over to E85. Now I managed to get it to hold a smooth, solid STOCK idle on 2200cc's!

Here's the video of just idle:

And here's idle and a free-rev to show the idle recovery:

Here's a car we've been working on for a while. The engine is all broken in and we got the car driving extremely well with the AEM, so we started giving her some more boost .

This is an 04 STI with built engine, built heads w/ BC 272 cams, ATP GT35R (Stock location, EWG), TXS FMIC, ID2000cc injectors and AEM EMS standalone controlling things. This pull was done on E85 at 26psi:

This thing is extremely impressive especially for a stock location turbo! We're seeing full boost around 4400RPM and transient response is excellent all around.

Next we're going to extend the revs out to at least 7500RPM and bring in a couple more psi of boost to see what she'll do. This car is also in dire need of more traction, so some better/bigger tires will be making it on soon as well.

Thanks

I can't tell from the pics, but does it taper to create more velocity to the turbo? Looks great

How's the intake coming?
