Disneyland Question

OK, so my bf and I are headed to Disneyland for our anniversy in a couple of weekends. I was wondering if anyone had any links or knew of any places that are selling discount tickets to Disneyland, (kind of like Safeway or Longs having tickets for Great America). It's not a big deal, but I would like to save a couple extra bucks and put that saved money towards gas, hehe. We are going on a weekend so I have to make sure that they will apply for the weekend. ANYWAYS, also anyone have any suggestions on where to stay that is cheap and any horror stories of cheap places not to stay? gracias!

There is a semi-nice Best Western that is really close to DL.. Walk is only five minutes and rooms are not too expensive compared to DL hotels..

heres a goolgle search :

http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...eyland+tickets

looked like there might be some deals on there

you can save $20 or so on park admission from buying directly from their website. www.disneyland.com - you need to do it in advance by a few days (dont do it the night before you get there)

or you can try just finding friends who live in socal, to get you the "local's price". also i once stayed in a motel that was seriously right next to the employee entrance. it was really convenient. you just wake up, walk through the employee gate, and catch the tram. saves on parking. if you need, let me know and i can try to find out that motel for ya. nothin fancy, but it does the trick.

also make sure you catch the fireworks show. if you've seen it before, then its even better for the 50th anniversary of disney. hope you have a great time there. i did! =)

the fireworks show is the BOMB! loved every minute of it.. oh yeah, the hotel i stayed at was reasonably cheap.. i think we paid under $200 for five days, during Spring Break. i cant remember the name, but the entrance thats right off of the 5, if you follow that street ( i believe its Disneyland Way ) theres a hotel with two or three palm trees out front, and a Dennys right next door. i remember it being right across the street from the entrance, but thats it. if anyone from from socal reads this, they might be able to tell you the name

The Howard Johnsons right outside the main gate has hotel room deals that includes tickets for a great price, I think it was like $60/night and two 3 day passes to both Disnyland and California Adventure.

I've also stayed at the Marriot Residence Inn, right outside one of the side gates, great place to stay, for a similar deal, but the rooms cost more, but you get a kitchen too.

check your work.

at CSUH, they sometimes send out email saying we can get cheap tixs to various places...

as for places to stay, check out those coupons books at like rest stops. there's always a section for disneyland.

and AAA will plan out everything too. a co-worker went to the day where they celebrated their 50th anniv... she's a big Dl fan...

Oh, I didn't know you were going and I figured that's where you spend all your time trying to pickup bored HS girls
