Yeah.... if you have rub problems and you go with a stiffer spring.... YOu have other issues. You don't compensate rub with stiffer springs..... You just ruined your handling even more.

I'm actually looking into getting coils soon too but not too sure of which ones to get. I'm leaning towards ISC N1s b/c not everyone has them and they are a fair price. Any thoughts?

Why do you need coils? That's the first question I'll always ask.

I have BCs and they are alright not the best but works and does what I bought them for, height adjustability. I also daily mines and it's been 10k nothing wrong with it yet. If you're planning to go much lower then the BRs are not ideal because they do not go as low as some people expect them to go. They also only come with front camber plates (correct me if I'm wrong). Overall, I like mines

Preferable to adjust the ride height but I also want to tighten up my suspension.

Height adjustment, every time it's done you need an alignment.

Spend the extra few hundred and get fortunes or at least feal 441. But to be honest you can probably go with a strut spring set up.

I was going to do a spring strut set up but I heard on the the GRs that you have to cut something to make the aftermarket strut fit perfect and that just sounds a lot of work for me. I rather just do a bolt on bolt off kinda thing. Even though hard work pays off, still don't want to do it. Lol

Well the konis are inserts for macpherson struts like your fronts are, the rears will be a full strut.

Lazy does not = Quality.

Dbangs has iscs on his gr and he loves them.

Do bilsteins and yellows with gtworx. Those look nice on the GR.

Because that's what he's asking to do with the options he listed that he's considering.

Because those are budget coilovers.

In which case you should not have gotten coilovers in the 1st place. If you're not using the car to its full potential on a competitive level all you did was spend a grand on redundant adjustability. You could have gotten a more reliable, better riding, and debatably better performing set up for less than what you paid for those BC. For DDs that see no track time, coilovers are a waste of money and extra hassle over better, more suitable setups. Fine if you have money to blow on coilovers actually worthwhile and don't mind the extra work and downtime, but a poorly thought out idea for people who are on budgets. Instead you bought coilovers with race rate springs that they may not even be valved for.
