wow this is a deal

how does SpeedSF run their days? How many cars in a run group?

Do they make sure every green group driver has an instructor and are they good?

What's their passing rules for yellow group and above?

All the info is on their site, SpeedSF.com

20minutes per session, 4 sessions. 1 Session is for their SpeedSF challenge, which is basically a time attack against your class. This is during lunch, so it wont interrupt anyones session

Their grouping/passing is this.

Advance /Open:
20+ Track Day Experience or Racing License
Experience with open pass passing, race like condition
No passing restrictions with good judgement, passing anywhere

Low Advance / High Intermediate:
11-19 Track Day Experience with good awareness of surrounding vehicles.
Drivers are capable of passing anywhere, but at a slower pace.
Point-By Passing is recommended, but not required.

Low Intermediate:
4-19 Track Day Experience
Point-by Passing is required at all time.
Passing is not allowed unless the car being overtaken has authorized the pass with a Hand Signal
Passing in the corners is allowed with Point-by and safe.

Beginners:
0-3 Track Day Experience
Point-by Passing is required at all time
No passing in all corners.
All passing must be done at the straight sections and before the braking zone with Point-by signal from the front driver.
Instructors available for Lead and Follow instructions.

Heedz, I'm still considering the Dec. 21st day. I don't know if I can yet, and to boot, I'll have my brakes redone, and might have a seat, but will likely not have my flares or wheels on yet, and may not even have my coilovers back yet. So I'm trying to be patient...

Hopefully you'll see me out there in my flared GM6.
