Best way to fix these? (22B replica hood vents)

Update:
Got the mesh finished up today and then installed the vents on the car.
Only thing I screwed up on was tightened one of the bolts a lil too tight so it popped out of the jb weld that was holding it... but still has 4/5 bolts holding it down so it'll be alright.
I'm gonna update my other body shop thread with how everything else turned out but here's the vent related stuff for now.

So I did get them anodized black, but for some reason one piece turned out black and the other an ashy/grey black.
I went ahead and did about 3 coats of gloss black spray paint on them, so even if it does chip it'll still be black underneath.
