Finally took the plunge today and got one of the bolts installed, still needs to harden for 24hrs.
Marked on the back of both vents where each bolt should go but quickly realized that setting up 5 bolts at the same time (using my template) to cure was going to be a pain. Went the jb weld route instead of resin after talking with a guy at Tap Plastics and showing him my project.
I'll go back tomorrow and see how well it holds, long as it looks ok I'll do the remaining ones this way.

Well here I was all ready to chime in and offer to help since IIRC you're still in FMT but apparently you're already rolling.
Let me know how it goes and if you do decide to go the mold route. Plaster of Paris is easy stuff to work with as long as you make a mold case to protect them in. The Michaels in Union Landing has it. Just have to watch how you mix it since the P.O.P. can get hot as it cures off and throw plastic and fiberglass pieces slightly out of shape.
By the way, nice part holder shims, reminds me I gotta glue ours back into the front-room blinds again.

Thanks! Yea and if any of the bolts happen to be fubar'd you can fix em learning from my frustration with this haha.
Even after I get the 2nd vent done, still need to get the fitment dialed in when putting em back on with the mesh, washers & lock washers.

Alright! At long last, completed both vents and got them installed on the jdm hood for test fitment on the car.
Ended up having to drill out some material on the vent tabs on the hood for better alignment.
Still waiting on fog cover brackets to test fit those as well, after all the fitment checks are done it'll be time to find a body shop.
