Was it a black Camry?

Haha... you're me a month later. Or I'm you a month earlier.

Fricken Enterprise gave the car to me with tires on low inflation 29 psi.

People who listen to 105.3 apparently don't bother to check the presents and just keep adding channels.

My car took about a week to get done.

It's insane they are taking that long to do one car. Should be in and out the same day. The gd chassis airbag takes less than an hour to do haha

Hah, that's funny. I thought maybe you were at the rental place getting yours done at the same time I was.

Yea I noticed the tires low. So bouncy on bumps.

The speakers are definitely better than the 'premium' ones that came with mine.

The car has no soul. I want mine back so bad. Probably won't be ready til Monday.

This is a disturbing development that they need a car for more than a day

Since there seems to be only one person per dealership who can do this recall repair, I think it's so that the mechanic can get a steady flow of cars one after the other. It's like a buffer, so they don't have to rely on the client being on time.

There's something really wrong with that dealership if only one person can do airbags. Almost every tech should be able to do them

Since it is a safety recall and techincally explosive related, they are apparently only certifying one tech per site to do the replacement and then only that tech can do it. So it isn't that they can't all do it, it is that it has to be done within the guidelines to avoid any liability for Subaru (since it was a Takata issue). That's why it takes longer.

They made a mistake on my car and I had to take it back though, so steak came with a side of dog food.

Day 7 in the Camry...

Just as my girlfriend drives away in the Outback she just bought, I start backing out of my parking spot and then notice someone else doing the same thing opposite of me. I stopped and fumbled with the goofy automatic gear shift to get it in drive, but it's too late. Working on my claim right now...

That's definitely not true. Must be specific to that dealership or they just don't have any other good technicians that they trust to do it.

That's what Creek's service manager told me.
