Im not tuned for higher octane but i mix it with 91 for track days simply for the added safety margin

Same here, canyon driving this weekend and purchase about 4 gallons of 100 octane then fill it it up fully with 91..

You basically get 93.5 octane - better knock resistance just as an added safety margin on a 91 octane tune.

Woodside 76 sells 100 on two gas pumps and 104, 110, and 112 inside when the garage is open. You have to bring your own gas jug to get gas above 100 octane.

+1. I've run 100 when filling up at Thunderhill. Perhaps silly money for a placebo, but feel better about tracking in 100F with some margin.

South San Francisco, there's a place called Gotelli's Speed Shop that sells race gas by 5 gallon canisters. I use to buy my C16 there.

I stopped off at the 76 Station in Stockton (Vanco Truck & Auto Plaza - 1033 West Charter Way, Stockton, CA) and found out that they sell 100 octane at the pump. It was $8.69/gallon this past weekend.

This is good to know, i have fam who live in lodi off the 99 so if i drive the GC I can fuel up before heading home and not have to swap maps back to 91.

But it takes twice as much, and if your lead footed and like to drive your car hard you'll be filling up twice if not 3 times as often.
