I will be there next weekend Friday through Monday (LA AFB area). I have access to a car and apartment whenever I am there, but I typically fly (though I might be doing a coastal drive in July).

I am taking two month off after i wrap up my current project in June. My g/f is stationed in LA, so I will be driving down there for a period of that time (hence might as well make it a scenic one).

And I am not flying back to SF on Monday. Have to go back out to East Coast
