Annie's Guns in Fremont (Formally Irvington Arms)
This used to be Irvington Arms, but apparently they sold it and now Annie's Guns exist.
I called them a few weeks ago and asked if they had a Glock 21 in stock, the guy on the phone rudely told me they had it in stock, I asked if he could hold it for an hour while I drove up from San Jose. He told me he would.
When I get there an old man asks me what I wanted... I asked him if he had any AR-15 lower receivers in stock (wanted one of those too), he again rudely told me they didn't have any lowers. I then asked about an a Complete AR and he yells at me and says "No! We don't have any AR-15's!"....
I just sigh and ask for the Glock 21 I called about.... He then tells me he sold it someone already! (took me 30 mins to get there!) I told him that I drove all the way down from San Jose to buy that G21, and that's why I asked him to hold it. Then he had the audacity to tell me that I didn't ask him to hold it for me when I talked to him over the phone, basically calling me a liar.
I was so pissed. I left and told him he was a piece of ****.

Yeah I don't understand what it is about gun shops being rude to people or acting high and mighty towards people. Thanks for the heads up I will make sure I don't go there and tell all my cop buddies in several like 6 different bay area cities to tell their cop buddies not to patronize them.

Meh. I remember selling a woman a lower drum head instead of an upper. It was for her son, a drum student, of 10 or 12. If you know anything about drums you know the difference between an upper and lower. I did not at the time. The woman came back with her son and showed me the holy head. I gave her the right head, about 4x the cost of the wrone one and told her son to pick out a couple pairs of sticks. They came to the counter and I told then it was on the house. The owner was at the counter next to me and said "I could not do that" as I was wrapping up the things. The owner pitched a fit! I told the woman it was OK and she was good to go. I got fired.
Next month she bought her son an expensive drum set and her daughter a silver flute.
Good customer service is good.
