OMFG loved that as a kid. So vulgar, the english translated versions aren't even close to how the Japanese showed it on national TV

The new Neon Genesis movies are still good. I'm still waiting for Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo.

Yep, not saying it was bad at all. Just that having seen the series, watching the new ones you pretty much know what things were cut out to. In a way, it focuses the story a bit, "trimming the fat", but you lose some of the back story and character development. Definitely going to pick up 3.33 when it comes out.

Big fan of most of the Miyazaki films. Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Naussica, Porko Rosso, Pom Poko, Castle in the Sky, etc...

Yes. Each of the new ones is about 6-7 episodes combined and cut down to just the base story.

What O4GG said. There are a couple of things that are different in the movies, but they're still worth seeing.

But in all seriousness, TOO many to name.
Yeah, I posted that back in 2004. I used to watch a lot of anime, now kinda tired of it, most of it starts off gangbusters but falls apart as the story concludes. Korean Anime is worse, the heroine always dies, haha.

Just watch "Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt". It only gets better as it goes on!
