Has anyone swapped out a one of these motors into their cars here in the states? I found a couple of site selling crate motors that come w/ everything: pumps, manifolds, heads, etc.. I assume they'll come w/ the VVT, In that case all I would need is and engine management that can handle that such as a link ECU right?
It seems this motor is really the only way to make real reliable high power in a WRX.
I know there are plenty of motor builders out there but It would be nice to get a motor w/ a manual... hehe

You should be able to run it with a Link.
How much you saw them go for?

i dont think the link that controlls it came out yet
Would an ECU programmed to handle 91/93 octane gas be all you need to keep the thing from detonating itself to hell?

I have one in my car. See www.wrxworld.com for full install details. Easy swap. Jeff Perrin also has a EJ207 with AVCS in his car. AVCS rocks... but you need to run the STI ECU to control it.

Does anyone have a good place to source the EJ207 engine and front clips?
