I wanted to let you guys know that today is National Foster Kids Day. If you know any foster youth, hook em up with some pizza or something.
Foster kids get bounced through the system shamelessly. Almost 50% turn to drugs or prostitution once they are emancipated (at age 18). It is a system that needs to be turned upside down.
