"After Mitsubishi announced they would not be competing this year, Delecour was scheduled for a season of testing and development prior to Mitsubishi's return in 2004.
Although Delecour said recently that he wasn't expecting to have his 2004 situation confirmed until September, the decision has been made earlier - by "mutual" consent, according to Mitsubishi's press release.
The company's statement continued: "While Mitsubishi Motors will honour its obligations defined at the beginning of the contractual period, Delecour is now free to pursue alternative options." -www.wrc.com

Watch out, another fast driver on the loose! think he'd ever consider joining the Subaru team? how great would having 3 cars be!

Yeah, three drivers. Then they could at least PRETEND to be interested in competing for the manufacturer's championship. I doubt it though.

Yeah, Markko Martin was a Subaru driver and Subaru let him go. He's young and he's fast. I don't think Subaru wants to win :(

There is plenty young and fast drivers in Europe, Subaru are not looking for them.
They will look for factory position. For example in Poland is driver who is 17 years old and he will go full 2003 season in Impreza-WRC in Polish Championship. What is going to be in next season????? His interest is only factory team. You better remember his name Michal Kosciuszko.

Delecour drives with an attitude and that is never a good thing....I don't know who will pick him up after all his tirades with his co-driver..hmmm

I know Subaru could use a 3rd driver, but I don't think he is it...
