i am installing a aftermarket oil presure gauge and i was wondering if i need to get a electric gauge or a manual.

Electric. A mechanical gauge would require running an oil line into the passenger compartment, which isn't a good idea as it introduces the risk of failure w/hot pressurized oil getting into the car. Any gauges that measure fluid pressures or temps should be electrical.

Unless you take the precautions of running proper lines. ie, steel braided lines and AN fittings. But, for the most part, use electrical gauges only because they are easier to install.

At the blowoff valve at the intercooler. Just tee off of the hose there.

i tapped into the fuel pressure regulator for my boost , well that where the instructions for the gauge suggested to pull a psi reading.

Although what you did will work (as will any direct manifold connection), the vacuum line to the bypass valve on the intercooler is the best place to install the T. The hose there is longer and easier to work with, while the FPR hose is very short to begin with and doesn't lend itself well to being tapped. That area is also closer to the turbo and gets much hotter so the chances of things coming apart from the heat are increased.
