Yesterday I stopped by Autowest Subaru to have my passenger visor looked at (wont stay up?) Anyway while I was there I met one of the service writers, Heath and a tech Tony. We sat and bs'ed for a while about what I had done to my car and future plans etc. Tony was really into tuning and modifying and was all excited about what I had done to my car. He went on to tell me he, along with others are really trying to expand the service department in order to take on more factory tuning, modifying, drivetrain swaps etc. He said its a bit touchy on what they would be able to do but they are pushing as much as possible. He said that they are basically trying to add on a full service performance shop with a dyno, etc.

Sounds like a good idea, although it seems like it would be difficult to accomplish but its nice to see people at dealerships that are involved in more aspects of the cars they sell than just the basics. I say good luck to them.

 

Yeah, Autowest is pretty cool. They're really stepping up as one of the better dealers in the area. We've got Eric and sales, and now dealer supported modding? AlLLLLLRIIIGGGHHHTT

oh well.. it will be sweet.. and I can hide the trigger in my Hazard button.. so cool !
