My 04 STI is going to need to go to somebody that can enjoy it. I'm sadly not able to. I'm always in traffic, never driving for pleasure anymore. The car is going to waste I might as well be in a Honda.
Details:
04 mechanically stock except for K&N Typhoon filter. I have the original air cleaner and will include it of course.
26k miles
Java Black
Pioneer AM/FM/CD with XM add on (not FM modulator)
front seperate speakers with Bazooka sub. Sounds very good to me.
Original Tires so you know they will need replacement in probably 5k miles. I was going to replace them before selling but this way I'll discount instead and you can get the ones you really like.
Factory boost gauge, electochromatic mirror, enhanced security system and extended armwrest.
Computer reprogrammed for the 91 craptane CA gas by the dealer. Yes I could hear the occasional ping before and don't hear it anymore so I guess it worked. Power was basically unaffected (butt dyno thinks its about the same).
Adult owned - if anybody cares.
Oil changes done every 3-4k One was about 5k after a trip to vegas. No other maintenance or repairs done.
Comes with LoJack, I think you can pay a small fee to transfer it.

Now for the bad stuff:
There is a dent the size of a fist on the rear passenger door next to the door handle. An Ahole hit the car with a large rock. Caught him, cops prosecuted he's done some jail and will now have to do hundreds of hours of community service for vandalism but I still have a dent.
Very small dent on passenger door. Picture somebody in a wheelchair banging into the door with their footrest. Dent is the size of a nickle.
Windshield was just shattered on the freeway by what looked like an oval hubcap. No body damage, it missed the moulding. Just the window.

Make offers. I'm going to go try to get the window taken care of and see what I'm offered for a trade in this week. The window seems to be something that will take a while to get from the dealer.

Post here with questions.

Thx,
Pulp

Sorry, If I was going to be able to keep this style I wouldn't sell my car. Moving towards something comfortable for LA traffic and sadly auto trans - boring but so is 1st gear. Thinking Acura TL (front wheel drive - yuk) or an Infinti or Lexus.

The windshield has been replaced. The new one is perfect. Moulding replaced and the windshield came with the bracket for the mirror already attached so it's in the correct place.

When I paid off the car last year my bank told me they participate in the electronic title program, they released interest in the vehicle and the DMV will send a title to me. It never came or I did something real stupid with it and don't remember.

I had a deal to sell the car to a dealer (I wanted the easy sell) and last min. I found out that having clear registration and DMV proof is not enough for them to buy it so I have to go apply for a replacement title. Every other dealer I saw said filling out the replacement title forms with the clear registration is good enough. Of course the best offer came from the guys that want/need the title. So now I'm waiting for a new title so I can sell the car to them. Until then the car is again on the market.

Pictures of the car before the window was replaced are available here: STI Pics (http://www.slahp.org/images/subaru/sti.htm)

The Typhoon intake has been removed and the stock airbox reinstalled for smog reasons. I don't think the Typhoon has it's CARB cert. yet. It will be included with the car.

PM for more info.
