View Full Version : What Brakes Will Fit Behind 16"x7" Wheels? Lobster Man 11-24-2002, 07:34 PM Such as a 2.5RS wheel. So far I know the Subie 4 pots fit, what else? silentrob_95 11-24-2002, 07:43 PM The Baer kit should fit. ImprezaRSDriver 11-25-2002, 08:55 AM I have seen the Perrin Wilwood Kit fit under the 98RS gold wheels just fine. wagongrrl 11-25-2002, 10:27 AM The 4pot Wilwoods fit, I have them under 16x6.5 Legacy wheels Lobster Man 11-25-2002, 11:38 AM Thanks guys, keep 'em coming. ImprezaRSDriver 11-25-2002, 08:51 PM I believe that there are not that many kits out there that will fit under the 16's. So far I only know the subaru 4 pots to be the most versatile. Impreziv 11-25-2002, 09:20 PM Lobster, you know your poor and cant afford breaks so stop wasting our time :D Pete adamsrs 11-26-2002, 12:25 AM Um the Subaru 4 pots will fit behind the 2000-2001 RS wheel, but NOT the WRX wheel, just so you know, but the Wilwoods will fit behind both to my knowledge! adamsrs Concillian 11-26-2002, 01:04 AM Front: AP racing 4 pot kit (rare, and expensive) 4 pot kit that rallyperformance.com now sells (I forget which caliper they use now) Subaru 4 pots Wilwood 4 pots (dynalite) 308mm Godspeed kit (Scoobynet did a group buy on these about a year ago or so, I could never get Ian to respond to my inquiries, but maybe he's more responsive now?) Tarox 310mm / 6 pot kit iON Performance 4 pot kit Rear: Outback rear conversion Legacy Turbo rear vented conversion Tarox 318mm solid disc conversion (stock caliper) Tarox 318mm vented disc conversion (stock Legacy Turbo caliper ... not 100% positive on this one fitting 16x7) Perrin wilwood 2 pot rear STI 2 pot rear kit (not directly bolt-on) Note that the Wilwood 4 pot rear that goes along with the Superlite caliper 6 pot front does NOT fit under the 16x7 subaru wheels. Those are the one's I know of that you can buy right now. The Baer kit if it ever becomes available. kaminari 11-26-2002, 03:28 AM Rallyperformance sells scoobysport kits. The old kit they used to have was AP discs and Brembo calipers, but since scoobysport switched (right before i was about to make a purchase for the Brembos), rallyperformance switched. Even though their site shows the Brembo's still, Rally Performance doesn't have them anymore. The calipers are 6pots made by KAD. The discs are still AP. -jason Kobayashi 11-26-2002, 10:44 AM Originally posted by silentrob_95 The Baer kit should fit. That Baer kit has been scuttled. k.
