Anyone driven HWY 50 through Tahoe in the last 2 days?

I was wondering if I need to throw my snow tires back on since I'm headed up there Sat. morning to do a little spring boarding (Praying for cold wet weather). I have summer only tires on right now since it's been 80 degrees here in Santa Rosa.

you shouldn't have to. They keep the roads clear.

It's not snow he's worried about, it's cold temps.

That said, I doubt it's much below 50 there when the sun is shining. You should be okay.

Yup. Worried about black ice on the shady spots, but w/ temps being almost 60 during the day, I don't think I have to worry.
