Mrs. Oaf doesn't like it.
It's cheaper to sell the exhaust than hire a lawyer.
$500 or best offer.
If you like, I can install it for you as well.

Loud is not always good. I finally got a fix it ticket for mine. Man you'd think setting off alarms and breaking storefronts was a crime or something.
that's why i recommended the stromung. i think you heard my car on the dyno when you were getting your TBE installed? that was the stromung and it's not too loud.
breaking storefronts? you have to give the story behind that... :D

Well, it measures about 95dB @ 3500rpm, no load & I've never been pulled over for it.
Even by Roseville or Rocklin PD.
But your results may vary.

catless right?
After I get my Perrin installed, can you bring your db meter down for a test?

That would be not only illegal, my friend, but rather socially irresponsible. ;)

Yes, and if you provide a lapdance, er, I mean laptop, I can give you a print out.

Nor is it recommended. The exhaust will be too wide for a non-turbo car.
awww Paul sad to see this catback go. What are you planning to get?

ive got the family friendly Greddy Evo 2 on my car that ide be willing to trade for something a bit louder. i have no wife, nor even a GF for that matter. only people ide be pissing off is cops and my neighbors, and neither were too bothered by my cobra which is pretty loud, so i wouldnt be too worried with a louder exhaust on the subi. *knocks on wood*

That's what I have which generated the "you are way too loud ticket".
I was joking about the storefronts, although alarms were common place. If you've been in Truckee on commercial row, I had to make sure that I put no load on the car or I would set off a string of alarms.

i used to have that problem when i had a 3" cat-back with a big ricey magnaflow on it. even with the stock cats in place it would set off alarms anywhere. parking garages were a nightmare.
the stromung with 1 cat in it was noticeably quieter.

you have no idea what a parking garage nightmare is until you are in the middle of 15 stangs and 1 Z06 all with very loud exhaust in downtown SF in a parking garage. we got yelled at by empolyees, it was ****ing awesome.

Sorry, I didn't mean to step in your path to quiteness. By all means you have first dibs sir as this is your post.
After much research, I believe that will be the exhaust I get. After reading RC51 Driver's note on Stomung, I will check them out as well.

Is cool, mang, just bustin' yer chops.
I'm also looking at the Stromung; louder than stock, but not quite as loud as the Perrin.
And for the record, I don't mind the sound level of the Perrin.
It's just that I like like having sex more than once a month more than I like the Perrin.
