You need to increase yer light.

But how do you get photos of the car while traveling? Did I miss something?

for moving pictures, there is a photo mode when you visit individual tracks (not the races, but the where big green signs take you).

After you run a few laps, exit and watch the replay. You'll be able to pause the replay at any point to position the camera and all that other wonderful stuff.

How are u guys importing your photos onto your computers? im looking to do some fun stuff in photoshop with them. Right now im sporting a Black impreza WRX STi Spec C w/ 421HP (i tried to get close enough, lol) and a 423 HP S2000 Spec V in new imola orange pearl.

use a USB drive to import photos easily. Just stick on in your USB port, and when you get the option to save the picture, choose the USB drive rather then the Memory Card.

I had the GT3 wheel, It was hard to get a comfortable playing position with the wheel and pedal setup, ended up getting rid of it.....

Most people that I know that have had it also got rid of the older wheel for same reason, or do not use it.

the new wheel is worth every penny. i got mine online from price watch for $100 so check around.

yes my friend that thing is fkin ridiculous....i've had the game since tues was actually at the store before the shipment came in....and damn i thought gt3 was hot....i've been so addicted to this game....i'll play for 3 hours swear i'm done but after a smoke break i'm right back on....i have like 13 cars only brought 2 and like a mil in credits. :)

Here's some pics from my game... the first are all pics from the game but i just made a little adjustments in photoshop. my S2k is awesome, the turbo screams on it as the RPM's just raise to 9k.

i have the CIEN too, but the actual time between when u shift and when u start accel'ing again seems so long. Fast as hell tho once it does grab.

i havent tried it yet, but i thought you are able to take game screen shots of replays only.
ive seen people taking pics of their cars in drive ways, near trees and like above in buildings...

or you can just wander around the game. like wander in the upper left corner of the "map." ;)

go ton the Gran Turismo Mode Main menu (where your home, GT auto, and shops are located) and go to Photo-Travel in the uper left hand area, this is where you can take these scenic photos.

is there a way in the photo scenic mode where you can turn the headlight on and off?????

those are some tight shots, but are thet actual gameplay shots? are there "cockpit" views? i was never a big fan of "playback screenshots". unless i'm missing something here.

i'll be going to get the usb so i can post my pics....in just a week my garage is freakin ridiculous i got the wrx touring car in black and silver...silver one has 550hp...i also have the nike car and the toyota triathlon car....i noticed a few of my cars aren't even avail. like the option stream 350z...oh well great pics fellas hopefully i'll be able to contribute soon!

yea, i have about 2 pages of cars so far including the Option 350Z with 719 HP i believe. That thing must have almost the slowest pick up with that power. Must have a gigantic turbo in it.... i just love how realistic GT 4 is :)

question how do you guys upload them on your comps and sutff????

you can use a USB memorystick by simply plugging it into your PS2, selecting the USB Storage device when saving, then pluggin it back into your computer. I use a camera memory car reader with my digi-camera card in it. works the same way.

Hey guys, these really are some great shots. Some pointers on taking even better ones:

1. Use the EV (Exposure Value) setting. You have to crank it up to AT LEAST +.50 to +.75 for the pictures to look bright enough on the computer screen. Honestly, most pictures taken in GT4 are REALLY DARK (especially the nighttime shots). Use the EV to brighten up the pics.

2. F-Stops - Usually set your F stop to AT LEAST 4.0 to get the most light into your camera and give the brightest/sharpest results.

3. Shutter Speed - Somewhere between 1/1200 and 1/2000 is the best for totally freezing an object in motion. If you want a slight blur in your image, go with 1/640 to 1/1200 for that effect. Anything slower will really look horrible IMO.

4. Resolution! - Save all your pics at "Super Fine" (1280 x 960) mode on your USB drives! There's no reason to save anything any less!

i do have that one and all the other cars except the pink one at the bottom...i'm just really lame and still haven't got a thumbdrive to save and post pics on line...but it's funny cause i was wondering if anyone else had that thing 2 gears 10 mph....... my cars have come a long way:)

I read about this car & a contest the makers of GT4 had with the designers at Subaru to come up with a prototype that a player could win. This was the rendering that won. This was in August 04. I will try to find te story on it.
