This has been going on for months now. This is for all the people that got mad when a democrat requested a recount.

Gregoire won the election by just 129 votes, after a hand recount of 2.9 million ballots.

It is pretty weak unless they actually present the evidence but still... 129 votes is a very thin margin compared to the whining associated to 118,601 OH votes in 2004. You can even take it one step further in 2000 when Bush beat Gore by 537 votes after the recount in Florida... that's still X4.1 greater than 129.

Although I think Rossi needs to disclose the names or quit *****ing, I really don’t think there’s any contest in this thread.

Very true, but the difference between this election is that we're talking about being gov of a state vs. leader of the free world in the other two cases. It kind of warrants the margin.

Not to mention the way bigger voter pool in the pres. elections.

If you really thought this way then there's no purpose in warranting the comparison you present in the first place.

The voting pool is the same for this Governors election and the last two Presidential elections as they were both determined in one voting state (OH, FL).

The bottom line it that we're not entirely sure what evidence Rossi may have at this point in time. If he can present the evidence as requested by the Judge then kudos for him. Otherwise, I think he’s a ***** like the rest...

The major difference in voter whining on the Democrats side is hype. I have only heard about this controversy once before on yahoo news. I can google voter fraud and have thousands upon thousands of threads pop-up on Bush and the last two Presidential elections when it was nowhere near warranted in 2004. There's not a snowballs chance in hell anyone can do a 118,000 vote hat-trick. You may contribute this factor to the fact we're comparing the Governors election to the last two Presidential elections. Fine. But I’m willing to bet there's a lot more dedicated voter-fraud webpages owned by moderate-Democrats than there ever will be with Gregoire and moderate-conservatives like myself.

Although 2000 is a much different story Bush was declared the winner by 537 votes. The major difference between this and the Governor election is that Gore had already contested the polls and the recount had already been conducted for that 537 vote figure. And guess what? Gore contested it again after that! Rossi hasn't even had the opportunity to scratched that stage yet until he presents his case.

I totally agree with you on the publicity of the whining. The anti-bush people were web happy with their complaints.

But in this election Gregoire contested, there was a recount to the current 129 figure and now he is contesting those results just like in the 2000 pres election.
