or lack there of. 2.6 trillion dollars with one of the things cut education. But yet no sight of Iraq or Afghanistan cost included in the budget. Thats just plain stupid, and irresponsible of the president to do. What does he plan to do about the cost of those two fronts? And how will he pay for it? Even a Republican stated this was unacceptable on the news today.
On top of this how is our economy doing?

Business as usual.....Why try to fix it when you can leave it for the next administration?

There's always money for war...healthcare and education...that's another subject.

When was the last time you went outside, dropped to your knees, raised your fists to the heavens and said, "Damn you Budget!" You haven't. Odds are you probably would be in the same boat as you are today if you were ignorant to the subject in the first place, right?
Although the budget is economically important in some respects, it's gotten way too much hype over the years. It's literally gotten to the point were it's the equivalent to Presidential bragging rights. In the very same respect as a high score on a pinball machine or that guy you looked up to at the local arcade for being the Street Fighter II "badass."
We'll just print more money, wipe our asses with it, adjust rates, let the next President score the high-score and blah blah blah (it's friday)...

Don't get me wrong guys... I agree with you three for the most part as it is an issue we cannot ignore. But it's probably not effecting you too much.
Otherwise you wouldn't of had the time to post because you're working too hard to make ends -and- would have already given up your fancy computer and DSL connection.
This thread would of had a lot more direction and purpose if it was titled, "Who's going to replace Greenspan..." Because he's the one you guys need to really worry about.

Well, imho, ignorance is the problem. I hear people ***** about their taxes all the time, which is not terribly dissimilar to saying, "Damn you Budget!". More and more of our taxes are spent paying interest on borrowed money, which means less money for education, roads, wars, etc. unless we continue borrowing. This leads to a weakened economy.
***** = evidently using the word for female dog is against the rules. lol
