I read this today and found it pretty interesting. What do you guys think? Would this be playing god? And another question, do you think the US should try to stake claim?
I know we'd be spearheading any such attempt, but I don't know how we'd keep other countries from thinking we're 'taking over' other planets. We would have to be EXTREMELY careful, in all respects.... certainly more careful than we've ever been with this planet.
And I know... "The process would take hundreds or thousands of years to complete, the scientists report."...but for people who think on a larger scale than their own lifetime...
