View Full Version : Prodrive PFF7s and GC07s scooby5 11-24-2002, 01:58 PM I know the GC07s are available in 17", are the PFF7 available in that size? Anyone know a place to get them? ImprezaRSDriver 11-24-2002, 02:18 PM I believe that that PFF7s are the same as the GC07s. Check Tire Rack. AGscooby 11-24-2002, 02:29 PM PFF7s are cast while GC07s are forged. Haven't seen the PFF7s on the TireRack in a while. They were only available in 18 last time I saw them. AG May the B4 be with you! ImprezaRSDriver 11-24-2002, 03:46 PM Rota SDRS are very similar also. hokusai 11-24-2002, 05:41 PM yes, i ahve the sdr's. thsy can be found here: http://kane.phpwebhosting.com/~imprezer/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=893 Lobster Man 11-24-2002, 07:26 PM I'd think that they'd offer 17" before 18". AGscooby 11-25-2002, 06:31 AM Originally posted by Lobster Man I'd think that they'd offer 17" before 18". That's what a lot of people thought when they were first introduced. I think Prodrive was trying to fill the fenders of all those new GD sedans. AG NORSE 11-25-2002, 09:22 AM PFF7 is only in 18". They are not the same as GC07. PFF7 is made by speedline for Prodrive. Weighs like 21lbs. GC07 is made by RAYS/VOLK and weighs 16-17 lbs. -NORSE ImprezaRSDriver 11-25-2002, 09:40 AM I thought Bridgestone made the wheels for Prodrive. NORSE 11-25-2002, 09:45 AM Isn't bridgestone a parent company? I heard that somewhere also. But like all the prodrive wheels I have seen they are made by another company and then slapped with a PRODRIVE label. Personnaly i am a prodrive junkie. :D -NORSE scooby5 11-25-2002, 10:07 AM Norse thanks for the clarification! Why are the 17" GC07s so expensive? After looking around I still find them more expensive than the PFF7s. Lobster Man 11-25-2002, 11:12 AM Originally posted by scooby5 Norse thanks for the clarification! Which means strong, and EXPENSIVE. Volks aren't cheap. -N O R S E Lobster Man 11-25-2002, 01:19 PM Originally posted by NORSE They are forged. Which means strong, and EXPENSIVE. Volks aren't cheap. -N O R S E They are on the other hand, schweeeeeeet. ImprezaRSDriver 11-25-2002, 11:18 PM Yeah most of the forged wheels are not cheap to begin with. My Volks cost me around 500 a wheel. I think Bridgestone in Japan has a partnership with Prodrive. That is why Bridgestone makes the wheels for Prodrive. mr2guru 11-26-2002, 04:40 PM Hmmm I really thought speedline makes prodrive wheels At least that is what is says on the inside of my P7s Lobster Man 11-26-2002, 06:41 PM Originally posted by mr2guru Hmmm I really thought speedline makes prodrive wheels At least that is what is says on the inside of my P7s Could they all be part of Fuji Heavy Industries.:p Weasel 555 11-26-2002, 06:49 PM P1's , supperleggs are O.Z. Wheels www.ozwheels.com i think the newer wheelsGCO7's ?? are made by Rays www.prodrive-japan.com Andy Alfriedesq 11-26-2002, 10:46 PM I just got the GC-07c's - - they are damm amazing - worth every penny hey are just beyond words - and reasonalbly light They do have Bridgestone stickers inside scooby5 11-27-2002, 08:04 AM Alfriedesq, Where did you get your GC07s? stiwagon 11-27-2002, 08:53 AM GC-07Cs are made by RAYS/Volk for Bridgestone, sold through Prodrive-Japan. AFAIK, Bridgestone doesn't make any of their own wheels, they just have other wheel makers make them. FWIW, the boxes my GC-07Cs came in said Bridgestone on them, but Mr. Simon Lines himself verified that the wheels are, in fact, made by Volk. - Trent NORSE 11-29-2002, 01:14 PM Originally posted by stiwagon GC-07Cs are made by RAYS/Volk for Bridgestone, sold through Prodrive-Japan.
