Forgive me if someone has already done this, but this forum needs a wagon thread. Here's a lousy pic of mine, but I'll post a better one as soon as I get some film developed.

I can't seem to post an image only a url, I realize the image option takes up bandwidth and server space, but it's kind of silly to have a forum called "Gallery" with no pics, isn't it?

Actually it's a 26 year old snow cat, and believe me, there's no chance it will catch me!

The pic was taken at Badger Pass Ski Area in Yosemite National Park. That cat isn't used much anymore, mostly it is now just a mobile hydraulic pump we use to raise and lower the bottom stations of our ski lifts (we can move the lifts up and down to accomodate the snow pack).

C'mon folks, let's see some wagons! All cars look better with bikes on the roof, don't they?
Those are some sweet wagons. pics like that are the reason why I sat and debated for ever about whather or not to get the wagon. I got the sedan and so far no regrets, that is until i have to take out the german quatro engineering (my Rottie).

What the hell happened? This thread had over 10,000 comments on it?
Is this the way the powers that be silence the people with wagons, by throwing away the largest thread on the site?

I think you are a victim of the I-Club/NASIOC split. I won't get into the politics of it all here, since it had nothing to do with me, but don't worry, all those other posts are located here http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=136817
Personally, I like this board a little better.

Bought Rota Tarmac's.. can't wait until Spring for the snow to disappear!
Here's mine, still bone stock (2 weeks old) except for the bike rack, which is one of the main reason we went with the Wagon.. Gotta get the kids to the races :)

it wasn't that bad, just took time, do a search on/in Nasioc website, should pop right up,
just have to order the roof moldings from a subaru dealer, I got mine from exter subaru i think there in new hampshire, they were 100 bucks,
then remove your head liner and all that is attached to it,
then you have to find the plugs for the 8 holes that are left in your roof, I used a lot of silicon and 2 rubber washers w/ a screw and nut,
next put it all back together,
about 8 hrs if you take your time,
just make sure you have the parts before you start, almost rained on me since I didn't buy the plugs befor hand:D

Cool, I couldn't really think of any good reasons to go with the sedan when I bought my wagon. I can fit all my camping gear, bike gear and my bike inside the cabin and it doesn't really give up that much to the four door (I just put in a sedan rear swaybar so it gives up even less) in fact I've heard the wagons are a little better for autocross due to the extra few pounds in the ass end.
I know I'm out of place on this group since my Subaru isn't a high-performance model, but here's a shot that explains why I bought it. This is driving out of a stand of plantation pines on a friend's property, with a load of camping gear in the car.
Today the car is sitting in the office parking lot, waiting for the rain to wash the mud off. I'll bet a dollar there's a shiny clean SUV next to it, blocking my view down the aisle...

Yes the WRX and STI pics make me drool, but for those of you who want to see a new 04 TS wagon, here's mine.
99% stock. The only thing I changed was the crappy radio and speakers. I threw in a Kenwood MP3/CD player, polk audio speakers in the 4 doors, and a stock subaru subwoofer from a 2000 Outback sport.
BTW if someone tells you a sub from a pre 2002 impreza won't fit your 02, 03, or 04 car. They are wrong. It fits almost perfect. You only have to bend the mounting bracket slightly to bolt it to the seat. The plug to the stereo is a perfect fit though.
If I stand in front of the car and just look at the head lights I can pretend I have a new STI ;)
That's a very nice engine view! ;) Wish I had an engine like that. :p

Pshhh, buy the STi Turbo, intercooler, and do some custom exhaust, and you've got a bangin' STi.
