Custom Garrett Rotated Turbo Kit, Pics inside. LOW PRICE!!!
I have completed plans to do a new header kit for my car, and I just want to see, if it will be benificial for me to keep the kit I have now, or sell it and put that money to my next one. In other words Im about 80 percent sure that I want to sell this stuff. With these parts, you will be able to Bolt them up, and slap any T4 turbo on your car. I am selling it for a VERY cheap price, because I made the kit myself, Im not trying to make very much money on R&D time or build time, just basically what stuff is worth. Pictures up! Parts that I am selling are as follows.
Stock WRX header tapped for EGT probe $50
Up pipe $150
Turbo adapter $200
Custom Down pipe $200
UTEC (brand new!) $800
Custom jimmyrigged up Intake with no filter $Included
Whole kit=$1400
further explanations of parts down below.
-Stock WRX header It is tapped for an EGT probe right after cyl merge on right side bank. Basically it's worth nothing more than that probe tap cost.
-Some Aftermarket Uppipe (no flex joint) Im not sure what the brand is, I think its a godspeed, or a PDF or something like that, it was purchased 2.5 years ago. There is an identifying logo, Ill post up a pic. IIRC it was about 250 new.
-Custom made Adapter from uppipe to Garrett T4 turbo and Tial Wastegate flange. Basically this is the part that takes the most work, and took us hours to design, and fab up for my car. This piece is and extension, extending from the up pipe, that bolts on to it just like the stock turbo would. Then is forks into Y shape, and one one side you mount the turbo, and on the other side, you mount the wastegate. All 3 flanges are made from stainless steel. The welds are not tig, but this thing is bullett Proof. "All go no show" as they put it, because it is not polished or anything. It is done right!
-Custom made 3 inch Vband downpipe. This down pipe is custom made for this turbo. The part where it all mounts up to the turbo is a Vband flange. This is the BEST way to make your downpipes, because it NEVER is hard to get it off or on. It maybe takes 1 minute to take it off. It is made of 2 mandrel bends, one vband flange, one flex joint, and some straight 3 inch pipes. Its is not stainless. This DP will bolt up to your stock catback, or most other catback systems. I have a HKS cat back on the car right now. Direct bolt on, with this turbo adapter, and T4 Vband downpipe turbo. The downpipe flows DAMN well!
-Custom intake: I had an old unifilter RAMPOD intake, that had a MAF housing, so i decided to use it on this car. Basically the 4 inch turbo inlet has a $10 HOME DEPOT 4"-3" adapter, then a few pieced together 3 inch pipes that make up the extension from the inlet of the turbo, down to the unifilter rampod. The rampod costs about 200 new, but has no filter. Filters cost about 50 bucks tops. (or you can use 3 pantyhose like i did) This intake is not pretty but it works. It would be easy to change my pieced together pipes for a pretty well made mandrel bent 3 inch MAF TUBE, and weld it on to the UNIFILTER piece.
-Turboxs UTEC. Revision 5 I believe with 4.2c software. (NEWEST SOFTWARE) Brand new, because they just warranteed my old one failing. Its comes with absolutely ALL of the UTEC hardware, mounts brackets, screws, box packaging, and auxiliary boost controller, Just like it was when it came from turboxs litterally yesterday.
The kit is a custom built Kit similar to the kits offered by ultimate-racing, or payne technologies, or GP moto. I built it with a close friend who is an expert fabricator and my father, who has been making sand rails, and welding for the better part of his life. His welds look like a computer did them. Anyways, we made this kit last year, and have been running it on my 2.4l axis power racing motor. I am not the type that can throw lots of money into things like tuning, so I was forced to use my butt dyno for the tuning of this car, a wideband, and the UTEC. I cannot tell you what it made for power because i dont know. It is FAST! Anyways more about the kit. It mounts the turbo higher than stock by about 5 inches, and rotates it out towards the passenger headlight. This is the only way to go if you want to cram a huge turbo into your subaru. ESX runs a kit ALOT like this, as well as any really fast WRX out there. This kit can run any T4 turbo, which means you can swap anything from a small one and make 300 whp, to a turbo that will make 1000hp.
Please email me at geezer_jay@hotmail.com, PM me, or just post interest. Like I said at this point Im about 80% sure am selling everything, and if prices are met, then I might just let it go tomorrow. I can have it off my car As soon as I have money in the bank.
