didnt think davis was that far from natomas, I thought we picked that spot so that the davis people would come up to the regular meets.. not us going to them

Im sorry if this is turning into something that is making trouble for you all, but I thought it would be fun to have a meet at UCD. It was cool last time that I went, and I thought it would be fun to have a meet here jsut to change things up for one week? Also, if it's ony a 'short 15 minutes' more to Natomas, then it's only 'a short 15 minutes' more to UCD

we have people that come up to natomas from folsom and Sybir comes all the way from placerville for the meets.

if you have only been to a UCD meet, then you should just come up to natomas for a change of pace then

 

SonicSuby, since u are the person who started this meet, its fair for you to make the call.

I know you said wednesday, but if possible please make a decision by tuesday by around 5:00...that way I can pick up the shirts from UCKK for anyone who needs me to. If the UCD meet is off, we will have to figure out another time for shirt delivery..

it seems that the UCD people don't come out to Natomas...but they ALL show up when there is a UCD meet. Since I took the orders AT UCD, mainly for UCD people, I would like all of them to get their shirts. That is the reason I want it to be a UCD meet.

 

btw, I don't want to mess up your meet, not even for one weekend. If this doesn't work out let me know and we can organize a UCD meet on a weeknight, during the evening sometime, I just want to try and make it a little easier.

I really think it would be cool to have a UCD meet this one time everyone. Obviously, alot of the people who ordered shirts are over in this area, and are only going to pick them up at UCD. After this, I would love to come out to MANY meets at Natomas. It just seems that it would work nicely if we could have this ONE meet in Davis, for everyone to be able to get their shirts, and also just for a nice one week change in scenery.

I just got back from lunch and I had a few PMs opposing the move for this week, so we're going to continue in Natomas. We have a regular thing going there and I don't want to disrupt it or exclude any regulars because of the drive.

If some of you UCDers can make it out, that would be great. Don't worry aobut getting my shirts - I paid SD for shipping on each item so they can send them to my house

Sure.

From fairfield, hop on 80 E towards Reno.

Continue on 80 E towards Reno at the split (at one point, it turns in to hwy 50, if you hit harbor blvd, you went too far).

Take the Truxel Rd. exit.

Turn left at the light.

Over the overpass, through 2 lights (first light is at the other side of the over pass, second light is to the entrance of a big shopping center).

At the third light, turn left (on the right hand side of Truxel at this intersection is a McDonalds).

Once you turn left, take a right in to the parking lot right there and look for many a subaru. If you are WAY early (I usually show sometime between 5:45 and 6pm), just park in the middle row of spaces in front of the sushi place.

I hope there's no hard feelings about me trying to get a UCD meet going the same time you have your weekly meet. I wasnt trying to disrupt anything, but now that I look at it I guess it would be a little weird to switch your meet over to UCD for a weekend. Anyways, I would like to come over this Saturday still, and hang out at your Sac. meet. I'll look forward to it.
