View Full Version : legacy sway bar fs Marty S 02-01-2003, 10:11 PM 18mm rear bar for a 95 through 99 legacy for sale. $50.00 saunderm74 02-02-2003, 08:18 AM Have you sold the bar yet? AND.... Ok does/would it fit my '00 legacy wagon? ('99 manufacture) Also does it come with any mounting hardware/bushings? let me know Matt Marty S 02-02-2003, 08:46 AM All I know for sure is it will fit a second generation Legacy. Not sure about anything else. saunderm74 02-02-2003, 08:56 AM Forgot to ask... is it front or rear? saunderm74 02-02-2003, 08:58 AM sorry for last one still not quite awake yet. Rear, duh. SovereignMK1 02-04-2003, 05:27 PM saunderm74 - It won't work for your '00. Only 95-99 //M bjsid 02-13-2003, 06:27 PM Is this still for sale? just a couple of questions. 1. who makes it? 2. How long have you had it on your car? 3. why are you selling? thanks, Bryan Marty S 02-15-2003, 08:00 PM The bar is a 18mm bar and I have no Idea who made it. I bought it second hand from another member of this board and he ran it for a while on his sedan. He sold his car. I ran it for around 15000 on my wagon until it was totalled last month. I got the bar off the car before it was auctioned off so someone on this forum could have a great upgrade for cheap. It is a huge improvement over the stock 13mm coat hanger piece:) bjsid 02-16-2003, 12:20 PM sorry to here your car was totalled, hope everybody was O.K. Where are you located in portland? I would like to buy it from you. thanks, bryan Marty S 02-16-2003, 03:10 PM My wife is ok but a little scratched up. I live in Lake Stevens near Everett Wa. Im not sure what shipping would cost but it cant be much. What is your zip? bjsid 02-16-2003, 04:01 PM my zip is 97202 Also the bar is not bent or anything because of the crash. I would doubt it is since you are selling it, but i still have to ask. bryan Marty S 02-16-2003, 08:51 PM No, the bar is fine the car was hit head on. I will check on the shippng Monday and let you know bjsid 02-18-2003, 02:19 PM Marty is there any way you could also get the bushings off your old car? Bryan legacy2003 02-18-2003, 02:55 PM if no one wants it i'll buy it from ya. Marty S 02-18-2003, 03:57 PM I grabbed the bushings when I removed the bar. bjsid 02-18-2003, 04:07 PM great! do you know how much shipping is going to be? I have a paypal account I can send you a check...whatever you want to do for the payment. bryan Marty S 02-18-2003, 04:18 PM Im going to check on shipping this afternoon at a local place. DO you care if its boxed. I got one I ordered once that came unboxed so I dont know how you feel about that. bjsid 02-18-2003, 04:47 PM i guess it does not matter really what ever is cheapest. if you ship it unboxed then maybe adding some insurace might be a good idea. I think 50 dollars is only another $1.50. you are including the bushings? right? Bryan Marty S 02-18-2003, 05:48 PM Cool. Yes the bushings are included. If I ship UPS the insurance up to 100 is free. If its cheaper to go usps I will go that way. Marty S 02-18-2003, 06:33 PM Well its 7.50 extra with no box or 7,50 for a box. 11 bucks for shipping so with insurance 20 bucks total. I have a pay pal account so if you email me Greenacres80@juno.com with your address I will give you my pay pal account so you can pay that way if you like. |
