So which turbo?

T3/T4 is very vague because there are lots of different trims, ballbearings,....etc.

with that being siad i'm running a fairly large T3/T4 ballbearing turbo.

I was running a VF30

Ion Performance hybrid. Garret/HKS 417bhp at present on everyday road car and more to come from mapping alone.12.48sec 1/4 in the rain and 158.3 mph on the kilometer.

IHI RHB5 for now, but my IHI VF30 is on it's way....then i will need new injectors and a Link, and then a new tranny after one self destructs!

I have a Ludespeed turbo kit which has a T3/T04b turbo in it. The kit isn't on my car yet though, its sitting in my room waiting to be installed.

I have an uprated centre diff and added a front lsd and the car comes standard with rear LSD but I have junked the 4.44:1 for a 3.9 which gives longer legs and better cruise at the cost of slower acceleration and 1/4 times.. Still using the STi gearbox but I have another strengthened gearbox as used in European rally cars which I hope to fit before I break this one.
I expect to increase power before the next rolling road shoot out late January and there are a few more mods to do after that too.
Trying to do it all bit by bit so I know what works and with what if you know what I mean.
Done lots of mods bit at a time followed by R.R.sessions since March when I fitted an APS cold air induction kit and picked up no2 piston in the bore.

I have a t3/t4 turbo from a minnam kit... not sure what the specs are on this one yet... would anyone please care to enlighten me?

I have not had much luck with the VF series Turbo's on the WRX's, seems as though you can only generate about 310 Hp on 20 PSI with a VF34.

I know some of the garret's go much higher then this. Yeah I am talking about the WRX, but I would guess the same would be true on the RS.

Anyone have some dyno runs with a VF series Turbo at say 5-10 PSI with a Link or other engine management. I want to see if I can shoot myself in the foot.
