I love the v2 lip. It looks entirely different and menancing at night with an ambience glow on it. My only compliant is that if you ever scratch it while going on a steep incline/decline, prepare for a horror. Not only it scratches it, it'll scratch the bumper too. I only have scratched about 3 times with it on STOCK height, and all of them came on those evil steep ramp gas stations.

br0kwrx- what did you use to tint your headlights? looks nice.

boOm- which part of the bumper do you get scratches on?

Good observation, I like that angle best, not necessarily the left, but from one of the front sides, it gets in the whole car (almost).

I can speak for alot of people with Silver Imprezas with them V2 lip. They're awesome in real life. The pictures don't do much justice to them.

the only reason most of them is pointing left is because the car is LHD, so its natural to take pictures from the left. If you look at lot of RHD cars, they take pictures with car pointing the other way.
(ya know, you dont want the curb in your pictures right?)

damn this V2 lip is awesome. hehehe. :p

boOm- actually, you just need to get your car lowered and paint
your side skirts and you'll enjoy looking at your car in photo's too.
new wheels will add sparkle too. :D

hummm...thought those RA struts would lower the car a bit more.

Actually the RA struts/springs dropped the car only about an Inch (20mm). Its kinda hard to tell in that second pic above, because my OE side skirts are still black and they kinda blend in with the shadow of the car. Real life car looks much lower than in that picture...

the kit is the Orciari kit. rear spats, sideskirt and front lip. I got it from CC-B from chicago. His name is eddie and I think he' around the mid-west forum. Can't remember the website.

Thanks loadsubbie. You know, you are one of the few people who likes my wing. Most of the people who see it, don't like it...but I like it, and that's what is important. It cost me $450, but I am in Puerto Rico and everything is more expensive here. If I am not mistaken, it's an RSVersion Carbon Fiber ST Wing. Aroospeed makes one that looks very similar, but it's cheaper. I was looking for the most similar to the sti's, this one is almost identical, except for the tall legs. I bought it with plans of getting shorter legs, but after I got it installed I just liked it that way.

(mine are ssr comps) and license plate (mine are IL). haha :D

Kenchan, those wheels and that body kit are really nice! What kind of wheels and what kind of bodykit? what kind of tires? How much? I'm going to throw them on my silver wagon when I get one. Porkchop, your wheels are really nice too (are they the same ones???)

joe- mine are SSR Competition wheels 17x7.5 with 225/45/17
S03 tires. the rear valance is USDM factory, side skirts are
also factory (i just painted mine), and the front lip is the STI
version2 (limited edition) lip.

on a wagon, im not sure if the rear valance fits, nor the
front lip nor 225/45/17 width tires even though the wheels
are 50mm offset.

joe - mine are volks te37 17x8 +38 offset with sumitomo HTRZII tires.

tommy- are your fenders rolled? can you fit a 225/45/17 with your 38mm offset? do you mean 48mm?

the rears are rolled and I'm running 225/45/17 right now on +38mm offset not 48.. I can run 235 or even 245 with the right camber settings in the back. I'm running Zero-2r so the stiffness of the suspension keeps it from rubbing, but probably will drop one of my kidneys.. :)

I know most of you have Impreza sedans/coupes or WRX models, but I figured I'd post a pic of my brand spanking new 2004 Impreza Outback Sport. Only mods are a new JVC MP3 CD Headunit(pictured playing some Steely Dan tunes) and 4 entry level Pioneer Coaxial speakers. I really love this car and it's since it's a manual it's a real blast to drive.

They are an optional accessory offered by subaru, goto subaru.com select the impreza then look under accessories. They are just pieces of trim on the side skirt behind the front wheels(in front of the rear wheels too???).

Slack got it on the dot. The strakes are actually considered "mudguards" according to subaru. They consist of the ones right behind the front wheels and the ones right behind the rear wheels. I also have the USDM strakes, but not sure how it'll look with the others.

No issues with the rails. I used rubber plugs and added silicone around the edges (the stuff they use to seal fish tanks) to fill the stock holes. So far so good.

The wheels are bronze. Not your everyday color combo, but it looks good to me. :)
