Well, hahaha, true - i mean, i hope they figure somthing out - and if they have been doing this for decades then i would like to think that they are making headway. I dont think it takes decades and millions of dollars to determine that Burt over there can't move George's cheeseburger into his mouth using only his mind. Pay me $20 bucks and I'll tell you that.

Are we seriously paying taxes to hire those crystal ball, tarot card whack jobs?
Until this stuff is proven to be more widely effective, I really don't think we should waste time and resourses on dead ends like this.

In fact, the entire creation theory has been scientifically debunked.

I know it's not a true science and I think it's just as asinine as the next guy but the DOW and DOD used any edge they could get during WWII and the Cold War. So did the Russians and Germans. This was during the same period when “beautiful minds” were hired as code breakers and encryptions only to have the trump card in Native American languages.

in the world of defense contracting, $7.5M is not a whole lot of money. I've seen 50 page reports that cost in the hundreds of thousands of dollars range to generate.

Well, the good news is that only $25k was spent. Hopefully something useful was shared in the report, aside from psychokinesis. Often science seems to be ignored or denied by government. Even if this report is the fringe, at least some people are getting paid to consider it.

How does this even address the point psosper was poking fun at? He wasn't questioning who had the same intel, he was questioning where the intel came from in the first place. Hypothetically, both of your statements could co-exist without conflict: If psychics conjured up the intelligence, gave it to the US, UN, Chirac, and Pootin', we would all have the same intel. However, the US were the ones to take this and run with it. Seriously, do you think there weren't any other motivations behind the rush to war other than the imminent WMD 'threat'?
Fact is, there are no WMD's (as of yet), and we were the country who decided to act on this 'intelligence.' It could have turned out all good, and we could have been proven right, and been vindicated of our actions; however, we have not YET been able to show the world that we were right all along.
But then again, I guess I know nothing about nothing... so disregard this post.

How does his point relate to the origional point of the thread? It started as a post reguarding over funding for the USAF and has changed into the cia getting thier info about wmds from psycics, all I did was point out that everyone else thought the same thing, the rest of the world, ie.russia, france the un were involved in the oil for food(dare I say, consperiecy)do you really think they would really screw themselves

Okay. His original post DID have something to do with the topic, but I also realze it wasin jest. He was not saying that we were the only ones with such intelligence, as you inferred in your reply. It was your post in response to his which really got us off track... I merely pointed out that what you said bears no relation to what you quoted... Given, both the quote and your response pertain to the WMD intelligence, but your response doesn't even begin to speak to Psosper's point, regarding where the intel. came from. He could have just as well meant french or german psychics... It is you who is guilty of trying to get an unrelated point in- by trying to link it to something that has been said, which was at least halfway related to the topic of the thread.
...BTW, I wouldn't be so anal, except I can't stand it when people can't hear what I'm telling them. I felt, perhaps I needed to make it a little clearer for him.
On the other hand, why didn't you just disregard my post, seeing I know nothing about nothing?

so it's ok for someone else to change the point as long as you agree with thier conspirecy rhetoric ? This went form air force psycics to wmds, how does that relate? All i did was point out that everyone had the same inteligence about wmds, and we all know he wasn't talking about french and russian psycics.

If his post was so off-topic, why did you decide to reply to (what you think) he was tring to get at? Wouldn't that make you just as guilty of getting this thread off topic?
Your arguments are weak, and it appears as if you didn't even read what I
posted.
His original post was merely a light jab, and DID somewhat relate to the topic of the thread (phychics and military intel.) You seemed to have taken his post somewhat personally- and have gone on the defensive, escalating the argument, and pulling it FURTHER away from the topic of the thread. Don't try to make things into something they aren't.
And go buy yourself a sense of humor.

Dude, you're the one accusing me of going off topic, it started going off topic when someone brought up the whole thing about wmd intel. All I did was bring up the point that we wern't the only ones with bad intel, as he incinuated that it came from miss clio.
"Your arguments are weak, and it appears as if you didn't even read what I

Why are they weak ? Because we don't agree ?

Again, so it's ok for someone else to change the point as long as you agree with thier conspirecy rhetoric ? I didn't take it personally, I think you guys are funny.Nor am i on the defensive. Remember I'm not the one who changed the topic in the first place, all I did was bring up the FACT that everyone else thought the same thing. So in reality my friend, you're the one furthering the arguement for someone who couldn't back up his arguement.
"And go buy yourself a sense of humor."
I have a sense of humor, But isn't there a comedy forum also?By that reasoning his post would be off topic as well.

You got it backwards...

...but I still think that when you were reading my posts, you weren't trying to understand my points, as much as you were looking for something to hinge your own argument on.
