What is it, constellation?

Don't know my IQ but I passed the my SAT's with a 1310 (while in the service), ASVAB with a 99 and DLAB (hardest test I've ever taken) with a 173 out 176.

On the other hand, I knew people with 1420 SAT scores that had zero social skills and didn't know how to write a personal check at the grocery store....

I know Bush’s IQ is in the mid 120's IIRC.

So does this prove that you have to have a low IQ to make more money?

All the exit polls indicated that the rich voted for Bush and poor for Kerry.
Y'all already knew about this contradiction, right?

It just shows that being smart doesn't help you get born into a rich family

Bush isn't dumb per-say. But he isn't the brightest individual around either. He is a average person. The difference is he has some very smart individuals around him. You can't discredit rove and others, they are the back bone to his presidency.

Also not to defend him, but any average individual makes mistake, but people with public life have theres repeated over and over. Still do we really want a average individual running our country?

-Edit-
Guess so since the majority vote for him...shrug

You scored in the 99.975 percentile and attended University of Texas at Austin? Not saying it's a bad school because they have a good law program but as an undergrad?....

BTW, I’m usually running scenarios with potential clients, babysitting lenders/title companies, ordering supplies dealing with mortgage reps, brokers and walk-in's all day long. Nobody cares if you multi-task either!

I made it into several Ivy league schools actually. The difference is that my whole family moved to Austin so we would all go to UT. My two older siblings both went and I followed and now my little brother should be following. I interviewed at Rice and got asked to go to several other Ivy league schools. I also played soccer and I was very good.

You forget this is my THIRD language, I have the excuse that when Im rushed I usually revert back to spanish grammar and spelling of words. But to me personally my biggest flaw is my lack of grammar and spelling skills in english. Thank god I still did well when I studied. Also that was a responce to HellaDumb. Don't see why you jumped in.

Oh, here's a clear look at where people live (from one of the links posted above) Compare this to the red/blue map and you can see why the election was close. Kerry dominated areas of high pop. density. There are countless things people can infer from this fact, correctly and incorrectly. I find it quite intriguing and very telling. ... infer for yourself- I won't pollute your mind, that is... assuming you haven't already read my other posts regarding this notion ;) .

This is a light jab... nothing too harsh

Can anyone who voted for Bush find humor in this? (other than laughing at the creator of the picture, of course- I know lots of you'll do that)

I find it hilarious- but I don't get the 'kittens' part, and it's hard for me to make the connection with '17th century pirates.' But the 'NASCAR dads', 'washing mashine repairmen', 'honkies', and 'adult victims of FAS', are all spot-on IMHO.

I'd actually be curious to see a Kerry version to see what the right thinks of the left demographic.

Welfare moms -good
Hyrdrocephalics -clever
Death row inmates -maybe- but a very small %
The recently deceased -good
Everquest players living in mom's basement - kinda weak
7th year college seniors -weak
Ho Chi Minh -c'mon, give up on that Nam thing- you buy into the 'Swift Boat Veterans Who Can't Swim'?
Film Actors Guild (F.A.G.) - good (double-meaning- clever), but harsh

NOTICE-I added commentary in your quote

'A' for effort (and some real clever humor)... but I don't think it's quite as 'accurate' or humerous as the figure I posted... But, again, that's from my point of view. Of course I'm not going to find this one as funny.

None that I know of, I took them because of other reasons. I'll let you guess. :p

Hella, I believe you can take them several ways. The actual validity of them is in my oppioin pointless. They are pretty long but I believe if you don't wanna pay go find one online. They are usually several hundred question long. Or go to a psychologist and ask for one.

I wasn't trying to be condescending because I know some people goto certain schools for financial and/or personal reasons. I just thought it was suspect to have a person with a 1600 SAT score going to UT at Austin when there's obviously so much more potential.

If you want to poke fun at me being a REAL ESTATE AGENT then let me ask you why you went to college. I'm sure part of it was for and education and part of is was for success. Now let's compare our 2002/2003 1099's and W2's and let me say you're a RECENT COLLEGE GRAD THAT'S JUST BEEN INTRODUCED INTO THE REAL WORLD. Two psychologists (P1 & P2) are having a conversation:

The only pissing rights i have is that i'm 23 and i make a lot of money - for a kid who's only been in the industry for a year - so unless you're pulling in over 120k/yr, us comparing W2's really wouldnt be worth it the drive, or the beer you'd give me as a gesture, or the snacks your wife would give us while we sat with our calculators.

The only common reason I can think of that IQ tests would be administered is if someone thinks you might need special ed courses. Then it's an important tool for forcing the school to give you special treatment.

Nope. Thats not why. :D I also went to five high schools. There is another hint for you, shrug. And a piece of paper doesn't make you smart I'll be the first to admit that. I decide to go to UT because my parents brought the whole family to Austin so we would go to UT. Shrug. I know several 1600 people that went to UT. It is hardly a bad school. My friend who is going to med school right now had a perfect 4.0 gpa, she will say the samething. Grades do not equal smarts. I personally think it doesn't matter how smart you are, to be successful just takes a lot of drive and hard work.
