SCCA SOLO II This Sunday

So who's coming, outside the regulars? My offer still stands to those who wanted to ride during fun runs. I hope to see you all there!

I will be there if I can get my new brakes, lines, fluid, and rotors installed. I sort of need a new tire also.

Keirnna, perfect time to run your current tires down! See you there. BTW, what do you plan on running next for shoes? I'm still waiting for my V700's, which have been on back order for 3 mos.

Yeah I did just buy new tires, but the track day destroyed 1 of my tires. It is thrashed! I am using the Project Mu Titan Kai pads, or that is I will be starting as soon as I get them in. I originally was getting the NS's, but they are on back order for weeks. Do not buy Goodyear tires, they are crap.

If you're not a member you need $25, you can borrow a helmet, they use white shoe polish for numbers. I'd recommend sunscreen and a hat.

Yeah for the first two runs, then I moved it to the right rear.

Yes that is what you told me, but I had already ordered the tires, so it was too late to cancel the order. Besides I really needed new tires. WHAT DOES EVERYONE WORRY ABOUT THE SCCA FOR? You go slow, or not much faster than on the road. I know I am a newbie to it, but mike gave me some instructions. You never get out of second gear after you shift from first! How fast can you be going? I would SSCA in my old Geo Metro. It is just fun. Super Lap is where the speed, and danger is. I will not be driving like that until I come up with a tire solution.

If this is your first time out as as novice, you should come at 11:30 for tech and run in the afternoon. Novices require a coach for at least the first run or so. Just bring $25, covered shoes and if you have a snell2000 helmet, bring your own. Ohhh...and don't forget about the single $1 for fun runs.
