Bush Supporters don't know what they're candidate even stands for

This poll shows that not only are they not informed about both candidates, they don't even understand they're own candidate's stand on the issues.

Sounds like the blind leading the blind to me!

This is a two way street in every respect.

I know 3 people that are voting for Kerry after seeing F 9/11. Get this, they had no clue which party either candidate was till recently. Candidates feed off these types of voters with scare tactics. Remember my “draft thread to end all draft questions?” 51% of Americans between the ages of 18-30(?) think Bush is taking measures to initiate a draft. The list goes on and on in every avenue.

I see your point. But I've never seen a poll like this that shows that Kerry supporters know the issues a lot more than Bush supporters. I find that interesting.

I'd rather have people not knowing which party a candidate represented than not knowing that the whole world thinks we're f***ing up. I agree though, most voters have really lame reasons for voting the way they do on both sides.

BTW, I think polls in general are bulls***. Especially the ones for Bush vs. Kerry. Example: Bush 49%, Kerry 46%, +-4%. So it could be B45 K50. Or B53 K42. They don't know. In my field, that's what's known as 'inconclusive data' and is ignored.
