sounds like a pretty good deal, i dont know much about the turbo xs ecu, buh if everything else is there like he said, making 300 whp would be no problem. it's a pretty swt ride. i would definately recommend getting it.

I dont know how a Cobb reflash would work with a txs computer....but to answer your question a Cobb reflash w/a vf-34 map is good/reliable if your not going to tune the car further. meaning to get the most performance/hp out of your car you would have to go with a txs utec, ecu-tec,etc.....

You cant tune an ecu with an access port (asuming thats what a "cobb reflash system" is?)
but you can flash pre-tuned maps to your ecu with it.

To solve tuning problems you would have to use a txs utec, or get an ecu-tec,etc.

sorry i dont know much about any other engine management system other then the access port. do a search in the E.M. forums to get alot more info.

oh and thats one sweet azz wagon

Who said anything about a STi 6 speed gearbox? I re-read the initial post twice & I find no mention of any 6 speed...

Sounds to me like he is saying he upgraded the motor & tranny mounts to STi parts, but I guess I could be wrong...

From: Are you too one of the few still living the past? Well I can change that! With a simple wicket. Yes, my friend, a wicket. PM for details.
Car Info: No car right now....sob.
I wouldn't buy a modded car, personally. You never know how hard the car has been driven, regardless of what the prior owner told you. It may be fine, then crap out on you a week later. And good luck getting a refund. Plus, no warrenty with the mods he has done.
