all you out there with aftermarket exhausts....you know that black discoloration that collects on your rear bumper over time? Well I noticed it on my 02 WRX, especially now that i'm at stage 2. Well, my buddy whips out this bottle of stuff called "Goo Gone" and put a dab on a cloth. Moments later the black stuff was gone. Just thought I'd share that with ya. It seems like a good product.

Hmmm, that's usually from the oils and crap that get burned off the pipes in the first few days. You shouldn't be getting it again as long as you wash your car normally on a regular basis. Maybe you've got some oil getting into your combustion?
