as for an rsx type s being faster, yes of course it would.

considering you didn't have any mods that actually gave you horsepower.

if you want to up your horsepower and do it relativly inexpensivly, the best way is an uppipe, downpipe and ecutek reflash.

aight guys so heres the thing my 2 friends have rx7's one is the gen 3 and the other is the 1st gen now my other friend has a rsx type s we were all sitting there chillin one day n the topic came up whose care is faster. now these guys all have some good mods and im sitting here with a catback and a cai now im sitting there thinking ok well the 2 rx7's could prolly beat me but i should be able to rape this rsx right. you have 227hp with lag and 3000+ pounds of car. an rsx type s has 200hp, no lag, and about 2800 pounds of car. when my car was stock, i used to get spanked by a co-workers 97 prelude sh. little mods that you could do yourself would be up and down pipes, some sort of engine management like a reflash or accessport.

also, street racing is bad.

How fast of a roll? Also tell them to go from a stop and see who wins. The wrx sucks from a roll. Also ask them who wins in the rain or snow? :) wrx= not a drag car. To answer your question. Uppipe and downpipe will help.

did i say we were racing on the street ? i meant track. sorry guys an way wut are some other mods i could do. i already bought the up and down pipe. would spark plugs do any thing or any other lil mod that i can change thatll give me at least a lil more horse power. ill take any thing 1 or even 2 more hp gain would be good to know

Agreed . . . get rid of that dam CAI ! it doesnt do SH!T for our car! just put the stock one back in and once you put in the up/downpipe combo with a ecu reflash go line it up with your friends again! the outcome should be VERY different !
