2005 Silver WRX - guaging interest (pics)
Hey!
I am looking at the STi and I am pretty sure the dealership will try to stiff me
Anyway. This 2005 rex has about 2,050 miles on it and I just changed the oil (I am using Dino oil for the break-in, will switch to synthetics when I can feel the engines break-in is complete).
So far all I have in it is a Cobb Tuning AccessPORT. I love the torque/HP this little toy adds. Makes the 2.0L come alive. I also removed to air silencer delete because 1) it was useless dead weight & 2) I car hear the turbo spool much better, its not obnoxious, just fun. I replaced the silencer with a rallitek elbow. Perfect fit.
I have washed the car weekly (more if there was rain) and it has been waxed TWICE already. The interior still smells NEW! My WRX comes from the factory with a Short Throw shifter, OEM boost guage, and armrest extension (I also have the regular armrest if the larger extension version doesnt fit your liking
).
Finally and probably the best part of this car, save for the AP. It has the premium package. Thats an extra $1500 factory option which adds a power slide/tilt moonroof and dual level heated front seats. These things get warm FAST. You will thank yourself on those chilly mornings
I am looking to get $23,000. REMEMBER, this is an 05 so your getting standard climate control, side impact airbags, new 3-spoke steering wheel, 6 disc cd-changer, redesigned wheels, factory painted sideskirts, etc.
However, keep in mind the car is NOT for sale yet, I am just trying to see if there is any interest. I sure hope their would be because this car at that price is absolutely criminal
Pics below (just a sampling, PM me and I can hook you up with the high res pictures of whatever you want!)

let me also note that the KBB value of a 2004 WRX similar to mine is OVER $23,000. Check yourself if you dont believe me.
www.kbb.com
Add to that $550 for the AccessPORT and the fact that this is a 2005 (higher base MSRP) and you have an awsome deal.
