View Full Version : Mug shots of my car and details inside
Rizzo 09-27-2004, 03:43 PM These are some preliminary pictures. I plan to take some better, ones, but I took these on short notice.
To make a long story short, I blew my motor and swapped in a JDM STi V7. Running an FP Green and Turbo XS Front Mount. Hydra Stand Alone EMS. Complete USDM STi interior, everything but the carpet. Anything else you want to know, feel free to ask.

I keep it in the car. It is a fairly simple design. It attaches to the bolts that hold the lower rear seat in and rests on the hump in the middle of the floor.

dcfc03 09-27-2004, 09:49 PM nice job on the camera mount, dang!
stg2lgcy00 09-27-2004, 10:01 PM I may have to go ahead and make a camera mount like that myself good idea using those rear seat bolts. BTW hows the car run on the Hydra?? My friend has been waiting for its release cause he was having issues running Link on his EJ22T.
1fastGC 09-27-2004, 10:04 PM looks great! keep up the good work!

View Askew 09-28-2004, 11:25 AM Awesome job...any dyno or track #s on it? Keep up the good work. :)
Gleb83 09-28-2004, 11:38 AM Love it, very mean and clean.
gpatmac 09-28-2004, 02:16 PM Mr Rizzo, we need to talk.;) There are a few things you've got that I'm curious about.
I don't know if I'll be able to cut free, but are you going to Bush stadium for the AutoX on Sunday?
Rizzo 09-28-2004, 02:50 PM Awesome job...any dyno or track #s on it? Keep up the good work. :)
Not really. I had it tuned at Godspeed, but it was the first Hydra he had tuned so he was having trouble with it. It put down 301 on a dynapak, which is low. Another comparable setup put down 385, so it should be somewhere between those numbers.
No 1/4 yet, it won't be until next season because the track closes in a couple weeks and it won't be completely ready. :(
GPATMAC
Nope, won't be at the AutoX, but I can give you my phone number and we can meet up sometime. I might be going out of town this weekend to buy a car, so it would have to be next week sometime.
Nick
gpatmac 09-28-2004, 06:03 PM Sure, PM it to me. I'd definitely like to meet up. Hopefully I'll have my car by Friday and whenever we meet we could compare notes. Our cars are virtually identical, but I haven't had a chance to dyno-tune yet.
SuboobaruWRSEX 09-28-2004, 10:51 PM Your car is a beauty. Check out some tracks in MI, they close in late Nov. I plan to go during that time for some cold a$$ air. Not to be picky, but I belive that your car needs two things. 1. STi alluminum shifter surrounding. 2. 6 speed with DCCD. Then you would have one sick(er) subie.

I will have to look into the tracks up there.
I am looking into a JDM 6-speed right now and will put the shifter surround in with it. Hopefully I can get it all done and have it re-tuned in time to make a couple runs up there.
Nick
SuboobaruWRSEX 09-29-2004, 12:44 PM Sweet, you definatly will have one of the sexiest bug-eyes in the country.
