So a few weeks ago I throw a CEL and they tell me at my local shop its a Mis-fire code. The tech thought I may have a bad coil? I've noticed no performance decreases in the past month, and she still drives great.

It's an '02 with Cobb stage1 and Vishnu up.

Any thoughts anyone?

Can you get someone to read the actual code? There's a list of codes here (http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44311).

Subaru's don't have coil wires, they have inner spark wires (or something similar) . And no I have never heard of one going bad.

From the off the shelf maps you may be running a little rich, the code that is a misfire code, is it one cylender or all ? How many miles are on your car ?

Try getting your spark plugs changed. Good luck
