View Full Version : Possible Fraud
RussA 09-06-2004, 10:59 AM Ok, here is the deal.... so I was looking at my Transaction History because I wanted to make sure that I had enough funds to buy some Prodrive Springs today, I knew I had enough, but I wanted to check. I found out that I have nearly $600.00 missing. I looked and saw a payment to a 1 Kathryn Johnson for $573.20. The the F%* is THAT!??!!? I am currently trying to sort this F'ing mess out right now....
soggynoodles 09-06-2004, 11:12 AM Did you buy something that was for that amount. Sometimes small companies tend to show up as the owner's name on your statement
RussA 09-06-2004, 11:16 AM no... I called and they told me that it was a bill payment of some sort. I haven't bought anything that expensive since late June, and that payment was already taken care of. I placed a stop payment on whatever it was. So hopefully this will solve my little problem. They said that it could have been some sort of mistake....
RussB 09-06-2004, 11:37 AM did you buy something for $57.32 recently? i've had that happen where a cashier gets fat fingered.
nachomc 09-06-2004, 11:45 AM What transaction history - paypal, online bank, or other?
Hope you get your moneys back, man, I'd be SO pissed.
RussA 09-06-2004, 11:55 AM My online bank payment history.... they said that it will take 3-5 days for the stop payment to go through. I am still pissed because I cannot buy my springs right now, but I will be fine as long as I can get all of my monies back....

If it's a real bank they should take care of it. Good luck, man.
