the old wilwood 4 pots had horrible caliper flex and therefore lousy pedal feel, but they stop the car and fade less than stock. I prefer the Subaru old style 4 pots though. Same braking improvements, same (or possibly better) fade resistance, and outstanding pedal feel all of the time. The only reason to go with the Wilwoods is because you absolutely positively can't part with your stock wheels for some reason.
I have Perrin 4 pots, which are a redesign off the wilwoods. They are noisey, but they feel and perform great!
Using a thicker cotter pin as helped with the pad vibrating and clanking while i drive at slow speeds, and it was like .39 from homedepot. 3" cotterpin.
I like the wide variety of pads and how in expensive they are. $50 for race pads from cobalt friction and $40 for hawk HPS street pads from cobalt friction.

I was considering the 6 pot wilwoods maily for the price...Gruppe-s had them for like $1200 for the fronts. I did some research and them called gruppe-s to ask 1st hand and they gave the brakes terrible reviews. Gary told me he had them on their shop car and the system blew. They definately steered me away from this product as I trust their expertise. My bud them got some stoptechs and now enjoys dicking w/911T on the highway.

Thanks
Thanks for the input. Let me ask another question, AEM big rotor kit? hear anything on them? I found a deal on them on ebay. I was thinking maybe doing them with the Subaru 4 pot front rotors? Anyone ever use that combo? Also does anyone make an aftermarket rear rotor?
I think the 4 pots are pretty damn good. I don't see the need for 6 pots for anything less than a 100% Track Only car...
I dont like the AEM kit. I just not a fan of xdrilled rotors. It's AEM, a company that was doing like intakes. I would personally stick to brake systems made by established brake folks.

One other point of view on the Wilwood 6/4 combo: (though, all I have for comparison for the brakes is against the stock WRX setup).
What to say other than they feel a lot better than stock. The first thing I notice is there is far less nose dive under hard braking. The whole car squats evenly in braking giving a much more balanced or controlled feeling. Also, there’s no worry with having the ABS kicking in all the time under hard braking any more (wondering if the car actually is going to stop in time feeling). It’s furthermore nice to have much more control over the force on the brakes than the whole on or off feature the stock brakes had. Finally, is brake fade. I have only taken the car so far on hill climbs, ranging from an hour to 3 and haven’t noticed a single bit of brake fade (I as well brake far more often than before, because I can count on my brakes now). I had brake fade with in the first 15 minutes with the stock setup before when pushing it hard.
The Wilwood’s 6/4 combo are a huge step up over the stock setup (that’s also not even talking how much better they look as well).
I don't have any good pictures of the set up yet(need to practice my camera skills), but here is 2 shots any ways:
